Gold Easter

When I think of Easter all that comes to mind is the excessive amount of chocolate I can get away with eating without putting on 3 dress sizes.

However last year I was invited to a ‘chocolate treat tea party’, basically a posh version of an Easter party where vodka shots are swapped for tea, MTV music for The Best Of Beethoven and first date disaster stories for the latest on the economic crisis.

I know what you must be wondering, why bother attending? I clearly don’t fit in when economic crisis just sounds like a synonym for my bank account, I fall asleep listening to classical music (and snore) and I don’t drink tea unless it has a shot in it!

But If I am honest it was the idea of gorging on a whole load of posh chocolate that convinced me to venture into the unknown, sip my tea and nod my head in agreement to everything anyone was saying and as a woman I wanted to go because quite frankly I love getting dressed up and wanted to show off my amazingly fabulous new addition to my jewellery collection.
